Dr. Jay Lawrence Friedman is the owner of the practice. He is also the owner and managing member of Tenafly Psychiatric Associates, LLC in Tenafly, NJ.  Dr. Friedman graduated from Princeton University in 1985 and went on to study medicine at the Sackler School of Medicine.  He is an Instructor in Psychiatry, Adjunct Faculty, at Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  He completed his residency in Psychiatry at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School as Chief Resident. His fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry was at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. Friedman has been practicing Psychiatry for over 15 years.
